I am primarily interested in cross-cultural connections

and conversations of identity impacted by

migration and global borders.

Born in Taipei, Taiwan and raised in Raleigh, NC,

I developed an identity as a third-culture kid rooted in a love for intercultural communities.

 

Coming of age during the height of the Syrian refugee crisis and living in an international community catalyzed a deep concern for the disenfranchised, both locally and globally.

 

I hope to gain a more holistic understanding of complex issues, generate empathy, and pursue sustainable community development through ethical and dignifying representation.
