Born in Taipei, Taiwan and raised in Raleigh, NC,
I developed an identity as a third-culture kid
instilling a value of intercultural communities.
 
Coming of age during the height of the Syrian refugee crisis and living in a diverse community catalyzed a deep concern for the disenfranchised, both locally and globally.
 
I aim to gain more nuanced understanding of complex issues, generate empathy, and pursue sustainable community development through ethical and dignifying representation.
